Coyboy Caviar/Smash Burger
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this came together and how good it tasted. For the ground beef, make your own patties or use frozen ones—it doesn’t matter. I season mine with KINDER’S SEASONING , my go-to for almost anything these days. If you’re new to seasoning, just try it—it’s my favorite. You could use Johnny’s, but I recommend The Blend for its perfect salt, pepper, and garlic combo. Coat your burgers generously with it—you can’t go wrong. Heat your skillet until it’s fully hot, then add the meat after seasoning both sides. Flip when done, keep it simple, and top with pepper jack or cheddar cheese.
Double it up by stacking two patties.
For assembly, toast your bun and butter it.
Add hot sauce, spicy mustard, mayo, or any combo you like—personally, I skip this.
Top the burger with cowboy caviar, pour it right on, close it up, and enjoy.
Cowboy Caviar is so flavorful it’s become my new summer favorite, and this is a perfect recipe for batch cooking. Enjoy your weekend!
